Comice Pears
 Oregon grown, this light green pear (with a hint of red blush) is an extra juicy dessert pear. In fact, the flesh can almost be described as creamy. With virtually no core, the Comice pear can almost be eaten in its entirety. Great served with cheese such as Brie, dipped in caramel, baked or poached.

Selection & Storage
As the fruit ripens, the green areas tend to take on more of a blush color. To check for ripeness, press gently on the stem end of the fruit and when it gives slightly, it is ready to eat. Fruit ripens best at room temperature.
