Smokey Cheddar Mini Burgers
- 4 slices of Applewood Smoked Bacon
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 3 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons onion flakes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Ciabatta Bread, cut into 2" pieces
Preheat grill to high. Lightly coat grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Grill bacon slices for 2 minutes per side; remove from heat, crumble and set aside. Reduce grill heat to medium-high.
In a large mixing bowl, fold together ground beef, ground pork, bacon crumbles, Cheddar cheese, onion flakes, paprika and garlic. Use a tablespoon to form mini burger patties.
Grill patties over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until well browned. Meanwhile, toast Ciabatta bread slices for 30 to 45 seconds per side on grill.
Serve mini burgers on toasted Ciabatta bread and top with your favorite burger fixings.
