The Fresh Market Naturally Flavored & Spiced Coffee Latte
- 4 tbsp. TFM Ground Coffee
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. milk, almond milk or soymilk
- 2 tsp. sugar
Add 4 tbsp. of your favorite The Fresh Market Naturally Flavored & Spiced Coffee to 1 c. of boiling water in your French press or in a glass measuring cup, stir. Let coffee steep for at least 6 minutes. Heat 1 c. of milk, almond milk or soymilk in a pan, whisking occasionally to keep milk from scalding and to froth milk.
Press coffee in French Press or pour coffee from measuring cup slowly into coffee filter lined metal strainer letting coffee flow through into a cup.
Divide coffee in half into two 8 oz. coffee cups. Add heated milk to the coffee cups dividing equally between the two cups. Add sugar to taste – we recommend 1 tsp. per cup.
Whisk milk to froth and prevent scalding.
Heat dairy milk to 140 degrees; almond milk or soymilk to 120 degrees.
If using sweetened almond milk cut sugar by 1/2 or do not add sugar.
Special Additions to Latte’s:
Top with aerosol whipping cream and add a drizzle of caramel sauce or dark chocolate sauce or sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
This time of the year I love the Pumpkin Spice and the mentioned one is really great.
