Beef Fondue Oriental
Servings: 4
 

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 - 2 pound whole beef tenderloin
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (such as chives)


Preparation:

Cut meat into 1/4-inch bite-size slices and keep chilled until ready to eat. Prepare your choices of sauces (see links to the right).

Put broth in fondue pot and heat to boiling. Add wine and herbs. Reduce heat to medium to keep broth at an active simmer during cooking.

Spear a piece of meat using a fondue fork and hold in simmering broth until cooked to desired doneness. Transfer meat from fondue fork to dinner plate and dip into your favorite sauce.
