Our No Hassle Return Policy

The purchase of any product at The Fresh Market is risk free and is backed by our No Hassle Return Policy.

If you are not 100% satisfied, The Fresh Market will refund or replace your product. Purchases of The Fresh Market gift cards do not apply to this return policy and are non-refundable.

Returns Accompanied by the Original Sales Receipt:

  • Purchases made by cash or debit card will be issued as a cash refund
  • Purchases made by credit card will be issued as a refund to the original credit card
  • Purchases made using The Fresh Market Gift Card will be issued as a refund to a The Fresh Market Gift Card
  • Purchases made by check within four days of purchase will be issued a The Fresh Market gift card for their returned item(s). Guests who return items paid for with a check five or more days after their purchase, will be issued cash for their returned item(s).

Returns not Accompanied by the Original Sales Receipt:

  • A cash refund will be issued to returns without the original receipt for purchases up to $10
  • A The Fresh Market gift card will be issued to returns without the original sales receipt, for purchases over $10
  • Product replacements may be offered, regardless of the amount

What Items Can Be Returned:

  • Any item can be returned regardless of its condition (new or old, opened, or unopened, eaten/tried or not)
  • Any item can be returned regardless of when it was purchased
  • Any item can be returned even without the original package
  • Beer and wine are subject to their respective state laws

Where Items Can Be Returned:

  • Product can be returned at any of our The Fresh Market locations
  • Items do not need to be returned at the original store of purchase

How to Return an Item:

  • Items purchased at a The Fresh Market location, can be returned at any of our registers
