Add the sauce to a medium saucepan and bring to a low simmer to warm through. 

While sauce simmers, heat oil in a cast-iron skillet or heavy bottomed sauté pan over medium heat until hot, 2-3 minutes. Carefully add the chicken cutlets and pan-fry on both sides until golden brown, 4-5 minutes per side, until cooked through.** Cook the chicken in batches if necessary, adding more oil as needed, so as not to crowd the pan. Remove to a paper-towel-lined plate.

Place cooked chicken in a single layer in a shallow baking pan and top each chicken cutlet with a spoonful of sauce followed by an even layer of cheese. Reserve remaining sauce.

Preheat broiler to high with rack 6 inches from heating element. Broil the chicken cutlets until cheese is golden brown and sauce begins to bubble, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from oven.

Microwave steamer bag according to package directions. Caution, steamer bag will be hot and may release steam when opened.

To serve, place chicken on plate and pour over remaining sauce. Top with fresh basil if desired and serve alongside broccoli or Tuscan herb veggies. 

__For Garlic Knots__ (Ready to eat. Heating instructions below, if desired.)

Preheat oven to 350F. Wrap garlic knots in aluminum foil and place in oven for 8-10 minutes until warmed through.

*** *__Cook all meal components until internal temperature reaches 165°F.__*

- 4 parmesan-crusted chicken cutlets
- ¼ c vegetable oil*
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper*
- 1 jar (24 oz) Bove's Pasta Sauce of choice
- 1 bag (8 oz) The Fresh Market Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Veggie steamer bag of choice
- Fresh basil*

Chicken Parmesan

The best way to enjoy a classic recipe is to keep it simple. The chicken and cheese should be a gorgeous golden-brown hue when finished. See below for step-by-step instructions on how to cook our chicken parmesan to perfection.  

LBM Chicken Parmesan

GET ONE: Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Cutlets (4 ct)

CHOOSE ONE: Broccoli With Sea Salt Butter (17 oz) or Tuscan Herb Veggies Steamer Bag (16 oz)

CHOOSE ONE: Bove's Pasta Sauce (24 oz, choose from all varieties)

CHOOSE ONE: The Fresh Market Shredded Cheese (7-8 oz, choose from select varieties)

__For Seafood Cakes:__

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add crab cakes or salmon cakes, flat-side down, lower heat to medium and use a spatula to gently flatten the cakes. Cook 5-6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature is 165°F.

Transfer cooked seafood cakes to a plate.

*Green Bean Steamer Bag:* Microwave steamer bag according to package directions. Caution, steamer bag will be hot and may release steam when opened.

*White Cheddar Macaroni:* Remove from packaging into a microwave-safe container and cover. Microwave for 3-4 minutes, stirring halfway through, until warmed through and internal temperature is 160°F. 

Preheat oven to broil. Spread the salted butter evenly on cut side of buns and place under broiler about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

Add seafood cake to the bun, followed by onion, a handful of arugula and sprouts. Top with buns and serve immediately with green beans and mac and cheese or pasta salad on the side

__For Chicken:__

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and shallow fry until a deep golden-brown crust forms, about 5-7 minutes per side, or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached. Do not overcrowd pan; cook in batches if necessary. Remove to a paper towel lined plate.

*Green Bean Steamer Bag:* Microwave steamer bag according to package directions. Caution, steamer bag will be hot and may release steam when opened.

*White Cheddar Macaroni:* Remove from packaging into a microwave-safe container and cover. Microwave for 3-4 minutes, stirring halfway through, until warmed through and internal temperature is 160°F.

Preheat oven to broil. Spread the salted butter evenly on cut side of buns and place under broiler about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. 

Place chicken on buns followed by tomato slices and lettuce, and serve immediately with green beans and mac and cheese or pasta salad on the side.


- 2 tbsp vegetable oil*

- Red onion*, thinly sliced, optional

- 1 large tomato,* sliced
- 4 leaves butter lettuce*
