Our Favorite Way To Serve It Up

The best way to enjoy a classic recipe is to keep it simple. The chicken and cheese should be a gorgeous golden-brown hue when finished. Top the final plated masterpiece with fresh torn basil for a colorful, aromatic garnish and serve with pasta and fresh salad.

See below for step-by-step instructions on how to cook our chicken parmesan to perfection.


  • 1 lb Garofalo Spaghetti
  • 1 (24 oz) jar Boves Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce, divided
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil*
  • 4 breaded chicken cutlets
  • 1 bag The Fresh Market Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Fresh basil*

1Cook pasta

Cook pasta according to the package directions, being sure to drain when pasta is just al dente.


2Warm Sauce

Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add all of the sauce and bring to a low simmer to warm through.


3Cook chicken

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken to pan and cook until deep golden brown crust, about 3-5 minutes per side. Do not overcrowd pan, cook in batches if necessary.


4Add Sauce and Cheese

Transfer chicken to sheet pan. Top each with a spoonful of sauce followed by an even layer of cheese. Reserve remaining sauce.



Preheat broiler to high with rack 6 inches from heating element. Place pan in oven and broil until cheese is golden brown and sauce begins to bubble, about 2-3 minutes, or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F.



Add pasta to a large serving bowl and toss with remaining sauce. To serve, portion pasta onto serving plates, top with chicken and garnish with fresh basil.
