The best way to enjoy a classic recipe is to keep it simple. The chicken and cheese should be a gorgeous golden-brown hue when finished. Top the final plated masterpiece over pasta with fresh torn basil for a colorful, aromatic garnish and serve with fresh salad.

- 1 lb Garofalo Spaghetti
- One 25 oz jar Mia’s Kitchen Bistro Marinara Pasta Sauce, divided
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil*
- 4 breaded chicken cutlets
- 1 bag The Fresh Market Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Fresh basil*
Cook pasta according to package directions, being sure to drain when pasta is just al dente.
Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add sauce and bring to a low simmer to warm through.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken to pan and cook until deep golden brown crust, about 3-5 minutes per side. Do not overcrowd pan, cook in batches if necessary.
4Add Sauce and Cheese
Transfer chicken to baking sheet. Top each chicken cutlet with a spoonful of sauce followed by an even layer of cheese. Reserve remaining sauce.
Preheat broiler to high with rack 6 inches from heating element. Place sheet pan in oven and broil until cheese is golden brown and sauce begins to bubble, about 2-3 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
Add pasta to a plate or bowl, place chicken on top and pour over remaining sauce. Garnish with fresh basil.
