Community Involvement

We believe it’s our responsibility to invest in our communities the same way they invest in us.

Community Responsibility

The Fresh Market believes in giving back to our communities to help make them a better place for all to live. We do this with in-kind giving and through programs with long-term focus on hunger-related causes.

Alzheimer’s Association®

Dessert. Donation. Delicious!

This June, in recognition of Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, The Fresh Market is proud to partner with celebrity chef Carla Hall and the Alzheimer’s Association to raise awareness and fund critical research toward a cure. We’re donating 10% of the purchase price of Carla Hall’s Sweet Heritage Butter Tarts from June 1–30 to support the Alzheimer’s Association and the millions of individuals and families impacted by this disease.

Carla Hall, Food Network judge, cookbook author, and passionate brain health advocate created these tarts in honor of her grandmother, who lived with Alzheimer’s. Crafted with love and inspired by family tradition, each tart features a buttery oat crust with a hint of almond, a favorite flavor in Carla’s grandmother’s kitchen. Available only at The Fresh Market, these delectable tarts come in Peach, Apple, Cherry and Fruits of the Orchard, and are a perfect way to support a meaningful cause with every bite.

How You Can Join the Cause:

  • Purchase Carla Hall’s Sweet Heritage Butter Tarts in-store or order online for curbside or delivery June 1–30
