Baked Turkey Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 8 oz white mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 (15 oz) jar alfredo sauce
  • 1 (16 oz) pkg The Fresh Market Artisan Penne Pasta, cooked according to pkg directions
  • Freshly grated Parmesan
  • Fresh basil, torn

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until it shimmers. Add turkey and season liberally with salt and pepper. Using a spatula, crumble the meat until it is no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and alfredo Sauce to the meat; stir to combine. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer until mushrooms are soft, about 5 minutes.

In a 9x13-inch baking dish, combine cooked penne pasta with sauce mixture. Toss gently to coat noodles and sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and sauce is bubbling. Serve with fresh basil.
