Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ loaves The Fresh Market Caramel Apple Pound Cake, cut into 2-in cubes
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ c granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ c whole milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ c apples, peeled and cubed
  • ½ c golden raisins
  • 1 jar The Fresh Market Creamy Caramel Sauce
  • Powdered Sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla and salt. Add apples and raisins and stir to combine. Add pound cake cubes to egg mixture and press down so bread is completely submerged.

Generously mist an 8x8-inch baking dish with non-stick spray. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and bake or 1 hour or until lightly browned and firm in center.

Cut warm bread pudding into squares. Top each serving with a drizzle of warmed caramel sauce and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
