- 1 c vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp hazelnut oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 ¾ c sugar
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ c walnuts, chopped
- 12 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 5 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- Confectioners sugar, to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, whisk together oils, eggs, cinnamon and sugar. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir to combine. Fold in walnuts, chocolate chips and apples.
Spread batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake until toothpick comes out clean, about 55-60 minutes. Remove from oven and allow cake to cool completely. Remove from pan and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
