
Ingredients
- 8 oz. Backfin Lump Crab Meat
- ½ c. red bell pepper, finely diced
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp. fresh chives
- 1 tbsp. lime juice
- 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp. aged Monterey Jack Cheese, grated
- 4 to 5 drops hot sauce
- ¼ tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 1 whole French baguette, sliced diagonally into ¼" slices
Directions
Preheat oven to 500° and place top rack in oven 4 inches from broiler. Line cookie sheet with foil and set aside.
In medium mixing bowl, combine crabmeat, peppers, mayonnaise, parsley, chives, lime juice, mustard, cheese, hot sauce and seasoning. Spread 1 tbsp. of crab mixture on each slice of bread. Place crostini on lined cookie sheet and broil until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes.
