Ingredients
- 4 Slices thick-cut bacon
- 8 oz Unsalted butter, softened
- 3 tbsp Maple syrup, divided
- ½ tsp Kosher salt
- Toasted bread for serving
Directions
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through and crisp, turning occasionally, about 8 minutes. Transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
Beat butter, 2 tbsp maple syrup and salt with an electric mixer until mixture is very smooth and lightly whipped, about 45 seconds. Finely chop two slices of bacon and fold into the butter mixture. Coarsely chop remaining 2 slices of bacon and set aside.
Spread butter mixture in a thick layer over a wooden cutting board or other serving vessel. Drizzle with remaining tablespoon of maple syrup and sprinkle with remaining chopped bacon. Serve with toasted bread.
