- 1 pkg The Fresh Market French Rounds or one baguette, sliced and toasted
- 1 c marinara sauce
- 2 c shredded mozzarella
- 3 oz pepperoni, diced into small pieces
- fresh basil, torn into small pieces
Preheat the oven to 400F.
Spread the French rounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or tinfoil. Using a small spatula or spoon, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each French round. Top each round evenly with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni pieces.
Bake for 5 minutes until cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and top each round with fresh torn basil. Serve immediately.
Makes approx. 48 French rounds
