- 4 slices of Applewood smoked bacon
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp. dried onion flakes
- 2 tsp. sweet smoked paprika
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 8 slider buns
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Grill bacon slices for 2 minutes per side or until just crisp; remove from heat, crumble or finely chop and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bacon crumbles, Cheddar cheese, onion flakes, paprika and garlic. Use a small ice cream scoop or spoon to form approximately 8 mini burger patties (approximately 2-3 ounces each).
Grill patties over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until cooked until desired temperature. Meanwhile, toast slider buns for 30 to 45 seconds on grill.
Serve mini burgers on toasted buns and top with your favorite burger fixings.
