- 4 slices of Applewood smoked bacon
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp dried onion flakes
- 2 tsp sweet smoked paprika
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 8 slider buns
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium high. Grill bacon slices for 2 minutes per side or until just crisp; remove from heat, crumble or finely chop and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bacon crumbles, Cheddar cheese, onion flakes, paprika and garlic. Use a small ice cream scoop or spoon to form approximately 8 mini burger patties (approximately 2-3 oz each).
Grill patties over medium high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked until desired temperature. Meanwhile, toast slider buns for 30-45 seconds on grill.
Serve mini burgers on toasted buns and top with your favorite burger fixings.
