Strawberry Shortcake Cream Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 ea. The Fresh Market Cream Cheese Biscuit
  • 1 tbsp salted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp demerara sugar
  • 2 oz The Fresh Market Strawberry Jam
  • 3 oz sliced strawberries
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Fresh mint leaves for serving

Directions

Split biscuit in half.

Spread softened butter across the cut side of each biscuit half.

Sprinkle demerara sugar across each biscuit half.

Place biscuit halves on a baking sheet and broil under a hot broiler for 1-2 minutes or until the butter has melted and the sugar gets slightly browned.

Remove from oven and spread The Fresh Market Strawberry Jam across each biscuit half.

Spread sliced strawberries evenly over each biscuit half.

Drizzle crème fraîche over each biscuit half.

Garnish each half with fresh mint leaves and enjoy!
