Our Favorite Way To Serve It Up
Start by making your Brown Sugar Syrup (which you can make ahead of time or use right away). Combine 1/2 cup light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon maple extract and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved.
Remove from heat and allow to cool before straining into an airtight container. Syrup should last in the fridge for up to a month.
To make your drink: Add whiskey, Sumo Citrus juice, brown sugar Maple syrup and orange bitters to a mixing glass. Add ice, then stir with a bar spoon until chilled. Add a large ice cube to a rocks glass. Strain drink over ice. Garnish with a small Sumo Citrus wedge and enjoy.
