Sumo Citrus Maple Glazed Salmon with Citrusy Maple Syrup

Ingredients

  • Salmon Rub/Marinade (see below)
  • 2 Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon filets, thawed
  • Sweet Sumo Citrus Maple Glaze (see below)

Salmon Rub/Marinade

  • 1 tbsp The Fresh Market Maple BBQ Spice Rub & Marinade
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Juiced Sumo Citrus Orange
  • 1 tbsp The Fresh Market Grade A Dark Amber Maple Syrup

Sweet Sumo Citrus Maple Glaze

  • 1/3 c fresh squeezed Sumo Citrus Juice
  • 1 tbsp The Fresh Market Grade A Dark Amber Maple Syrup
  • 1 Sumo Citrus orange, peeled and segments pulled apart (or supremed)

Directions

Combine ingredients and toss with 2 wild Alaskan sockeye salmon filets. Place marinated filets onto a parchment lined sheet tray and let sit in the refrigerator for 30 min up to 2 hours. Cook in an air fryer, 350F for 12-15 minutes (OR broil if preferred).

While salmon is air frying (cooking), combine glaze ingredients in a small sauce pot. Heat on high until boiling, reduce heat to medium-high heat and boil for 8 minutes to reduce by half.

Add orange Sumo Citrus segments (or supremes) and cook an additional 2 minutes on medium high. Remove from heat immediately and let stand 1 minute before serving over plated salmon.
