Toasted Coconut Cold Brew Coffee

Ingredients

  • ¾ c The Fresh Market Toasted Coconut coffee grounds
  • 4 c cold (preferably filtered) water
  • A fine mesh sieve, plus cheese cloth or paper coffee filters for straining
  • Ice
  • Maple syrup
  • Heavy cream or half and half

Directions

Makes 4 (8 oz) cups of coffee

Add coffee grounds to a large pitcher or jar (that will hold 32 oz), or divide between two jars. Pour cold water overtop and stir to moisten all of the grounds. Refrigerate overnight (8-12 hours).

Pour cold brew through a fine mesh sieve lined with cheese cloth (or a coffee filter). Press on the grounds to release all of the liquid. Discard grounds. Fill a glass with ice and add coffee, sweeten with desired amount of maple syrup and heavy cream or half and half. Cold brew will keep in refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.

*For a non-dairy option and even more coconut flavor, try coconut milk!
