  • 1.5 lb sweet Italian sausage, removed from casing and browned in grape size chunks
  • 1 lb chestnuts, shelled and roasted

Our Favorite Way To Serve It Up

For this savory twist on our traditional herb stuffing, Chef Anna Rossi plugged into her Italian roots to add some of her family’s favorite flavors. With sweet Italian sausage and crunchy roasted chestnuts, this amazing dish is a delicious complement to any holiday meal.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In an oven safe baker, stir together The Fresh Market Traditional Stuffing with browned sausage and roasted chestnuts. Tightly wrap in foil and bake for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. Remove foil for the remaining 10 minutes. Serve warm, garnished with freshly minced parsley.
