
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. The Fresh Market Mediterranean Olive Oil
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 c. red bell pepper, chopped
- 3 c. cooked turkey, chopped
- 2 (14.5 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. ground cumin
- ½ tsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tsp. sweet paprika
- ½ tsp. Mexican oregano
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat until hot, 1 to 2 minutes. Add onion and bell peppers. Cook 4 minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally.
In a slow-cooker, add the sautéed onions and peppers, turkey, canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, pinto beans and spices. Stir completely.
Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve with tortilla chips.
