So, she travels the globe in search of premier coffee-growing regions, sourcing unique varietals from the tropical, mountainous terrain of places like Indonesia, East Africa and the Caribbean. Each bean brings a taste and aroma that’s distinctive to its origin—like fine wines that have inherited the unique taste of their terroirs.

While working to find the world’s best beans, Kappler develops strong relationships with well-known coffee estates and independent growers alike. They work side by side to ensure that each bean is directly sourced and fully traceable—so you know you’re getting exactly what you expect. Roasting Plant always pays more than Fair Trade prices for its coffee and supports growers who practice sustainable methods while making a positive impact in their communities.

With Roasting Plant, you never have to worry whether the coffee is fresh—you can watch it roasting right in front of you, thanks to the patented Javabot system. An engineering marvel developed by Roasting Plant’s founder Mike Caswell, Javabot delivers the perfect combination of air flow, heat and time to roast each single-origin bean to the exact specifications. In less than a minute, you can brew a cup to sip while you shop. Or opt for a bag of just-roasted beans to brew at home.
Your coffee—just the way you like it
Each coffee drinker has their own taste and style—so coffee shouldn’t be one size fits all. With Roasting Plant, you can choose your favorite bean from 14 full-bodied, balanced and mild varieties or pick three to blend and brew on the spot. (You can’t do that anywhere else!) When it’s time to chill, opt for one of Roasting Plant’s iced coffees. Each cup is ground and brewed fresh, and then Flash-Chilled™ to lock in that pure coffee flavor.
