Strawberry Rhubarb Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen puff pastry sheets
  • 3 c. strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 lb. rhubarb, trimmed and cut into ½" pieces
  • 1 ¾ c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • ¾ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp. all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake puff pastry sheet according to package directions. Combine strawberries and rhubarb in a mixing bowl. Combine next 5 ingredients in another bowl. Fold dry ingredients into strawberry and rhubarb mixture. Stir in butter and toss. Transfer fruit mixture to a buttered deep 9-inch baking dish. Bake 40-45 minutes or fruit is bubbly. Spoon fruit mixture onto bake puff pastry sheet and serve.
